Floating fragments of old memories resurface and ruminate in my mind, analyzed on a loop through a new lens. Chronic thoughts drift. Meditating on past encounters, I find, evolves my present perspective. This constant flow of reflection and re-evaluation shapes my sense of self.
I started this painting in acrylic. I'm finding that I can work fast and more abstractly this way. And the oils allow me to polish it while maintaining the abstractions.
Note: the top border isn't straight due to a misalignment of the tape.
