Silent Echoes

Purchase at GalleryInspired by a shift from loss, I've discovered a theme of resilience and adaptation. It marks a transition from loss, emerging from dissolution into evolution. This new work is a conversation between memory and transformation, honoring the past's influence on the present.
"Silent Echoes" differs from my recent works. While it also highlights a horse, it's more conceptual and composed mostly of acrylic. I see it as my transitional piece (or delimiter), a search for a space beyond grief. As a re-imagined self-portrait, it explores identity and hope, embodying resilience and self-reflection.
I used generative AI to help actualize the idea for this painting. It's a tool that I've incorporated into my painting process that's become quite useful for creating reference material for challenging concepts.
